Steve Kehoe

Launch Coordinator / Driver

Born/Raised:

Brockton, Massachusettes

Pronouns:

He/Him/His

Favorite Trip:

The Eldorado Gold Canoe Tour, in the lower part of Black Canyon. It is less crowded and more secluded.

"Esteban" grew up in Snoqualmie, Washington, where the weather is so nice that houses aren't even built with air conditioning.

One of seven children, he grew up playing tennis, baseball, and football. These days you are more likely to find him on the golf course, shooting for 2 under par.

Esteban's first outdoor memory is fishing with his dad on Long Pond. His biggest inspiration in life was his mom and dad, who taught him that hard work will always pay off in the end.

He is one of Desert Adventure's longest standing employees, and has been launching paddlers for years. He loves working for Desert Adventures because he is able to be outside, and not locked up in an office.

Esteban love to study geology while hiking. He likes to explore local trails and lesser known areas. One time Esteban and a friend were hiking in Crane's Nest canyon, when they came upon a fresh kill. A bighorn sheep lay dead across the trail. He calmly hurried his friend along, knowing they needed to leave the area quickly, since they had obviously interrupted someone's meal.

Esteban loves good food with friends. He has mastered the art of tailgating, and likes to "do it up right" at the UNLV and Raiders football games. If you ever want to get on his good side, just bring him a big Diet Coke.
